Marie (she/her)
Pole Coach
Marie Labbé has been a Montreal pole artist since 2018 and a teacher since 2022. She fell in love with this discipline that combines dance, flexibility and strength, and promotes body positivity.
Pole had a major impact on her life. Having found no sport that interested her until her early twenties, she simply told herself that she didn’t have what it takes to be an athlete. Discovering pole made her realize that we all have a discipline that thrills us, it’s just a question of sometimes straying from the traditional sports we’re taught at school.
Passionate about exploring innovative variations of traditional pole tricks and mastering back-bending shapes, Marie delights in helping students unlock their creative potential and find joy through pole acrobatics. Her classes are designed to bring out each dancer’s unique artistry.

Gazaal (she/her)
Pole Coach
Gazaal is a mechanical (biomedical) engineer turned aerialist and instructor whose journey began with a love for pole dance - and a firm disagreement with the laws of gravity. Gazaal expanded her training to include aerial hammock and hoop, quickly finding a second home in the air.
After several years in engineering, she traded spreadsheets and lab reports for chalky hands, pole and hoop “kisses,” and stage-ready costumes small enough to fit in a clutch. A natural teacher, Gazaal has shared knowledge across many subjects - from advanced mathematics and computer programming to thermodynamics - but finds the greatest joy in guiding students through their aerial practice.
Known for a commitment to continual learning and creative exploration, Gazaal loves crafting dynamic spin combinations, inventive transitions, and engaging challenges that inspire confidence, artistry, and a touch of playfulness in every class.
